last update evaluationcopy build 16215 sound card issue from new - Microsoft Community

have head set mic , in driver say's speak use head set , every time try play game huge popping noise hits, never had issue until last update

this seems compatibility issue. since using preview build has been upgraded, recommend try following:

method 1: run built-in troubleshooter.

1. on search bar, type troubleshooting.
2. open control panel.
3. under troubleshoot computer problems, click hardware , sound.
4. click playing audio and follow on-screen guide.

method 2: run "scan hardware changes".

1. on search bar, type device manager.
2. open device manager and locate headset.
3. right-click headset , click properties.
4. go driver tab , click uninstall.
5. once done, click the scan hardware changes icon located on toolbar. automatically scan , install appropriate driver headset.
