let repair device accessing the windows recovery environment (winre). here steps:

  1. turn off device pressing , holding power button, turn on. when see device manufacturer's logo, turn device off again. repeat process until see please wait. 
  2. on next screen, select troubleshoot, and then choose advanced options > startup repair.

after performing startup repair, kindly run windows update troubleshooter and background intelligent transfer service troubleshooter before performing windows update.here steps:

  1. search troubleshooting.
  2. click view all.
  3. click windows updateand background intelligent transfer serviceto perform automatic troubleshooting.
