IE has selectively deleted my favotites - Microsoft Community


when opened ie 11 today found many, not of favorites have been removed.  seems computer has emptied lowest subfolder in each favorite tree.  i.e. have folder structure favorites bar/financial/ contains subfolders /banks, /investments , /credit in addition links not allocated subfolder.  non-allocated links still there subfolders links within sub-folders gone.  typical throughout favorites directory.  happening , how stop this?  have checked favorites folder under user name in c:/ directory , links not there.  there yesterday , not see there update system overnight.
