Build 16215 - The good, the bad, and the ugly (for me, at - Microsoft Community

last week wrote about indecision on continuing install insider builds on oldest laptop or switch newer one.  after reading potential issues build 16215, decided yesterday keep using the old 1 insider.  here's good, bad, , ugly.

the good - although took quite long time, download , installation went flawlessly.  wifi still works.  strangest of all, after people/people bar not working correctly me in each prior build since it first introduced, working now.

the bad - trying open music or video file set use windows media player default gives error message "class not registered."  wmp intact , play file if open prior selecting file.  strange.  there's start menu crashing every time it's used.  sends error report every time, too.  @ 1 point found 6 instances of windows error reporting @ same time in task manager.  here there's one, after many had been sent.

 i upvoted on these issues in feedback hub.

the ugly - slowest , resource-intensive build have ever seen!  desktop window manager's memory usage keeps growing , growing out of control, making system painfully slow!!!  i've upvoted on entries in feedback hub regarding well.

yes, agree, find build safe mode not work extremely bad builds.
