Internet Explorer 11 won't open. Just flashes and closes - Microsoft Community


after recent windows 10 version upgrade internet explorer 11 has ceased working. flash on screen , close.

i have turned ie11 off , on via control panel, run sfs /scanhealth no issues.

normally switch browser there program use requires java.  i can;t find anywhere ie 11 can re-installed.

any suggestions fix issue appreciated or if can advise browser runs java appreciated.

are facing same issue in microsoft edge?

open start , search internet options , open , in program tab , click on manage add-ons , disable add-ons , open internet explorer , see whether works.
