Text alerts - Microsoft Community

have switched simple samsung payg phone nokia lumia 550. old phone play choice of different message alerts , repeat alert every 60 secs until read it. nokia has number of choices text alerts every 1 sounds same and, sound on full, cannot hear if anywhere other quiet place right next phone, seems way sure of not missing message remain surgically attached phone , keep looking @ screen every few seconds. have no intention of being 'tied' device. there way of a) getting louder text alert , b) getting alert repeat? close re-inserting new sim old phone....................unfortunately i'm locked in contract talk mobile 22mths.
