Build 15025 - Microsoft Edge Favorites Missing - Microsoft Community

in build 15014, favorites duplicating, missing entirely in build. attempted restore them re-importing using the chrome , firefox options, yet unsuccessful. please provide resolution soon.

i'm not expert, can try following: 

solution 1. backup , restore ie edge favorites 

solution method users prevent edge favorites loss issue when false operations commanded. it’s highly recommended create backups , restore favorites when problems happen.

open file explorer > copy , paste: %localappdata%\packages\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\ac\microsoftedge\user\default in address bar > hit enter > copy datastore folder save backups.

please close microsoft internet explorer edge firstly if it’s opened. , if have backups, when lose favorites in ie edge, follow next steps restore bookmarks then:

1. open file explorer, copy , paste: %localappdata%\packages\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\ac\microsoftedge\user\default in address bar , press enter. 
2. copy backed datastore folder saved default folder.
3. click or tap replace files in destination.
you’ll able restore microsoft edge , favorites back.
solution 2. restore ie edge favorites manually

method designed restore favorites when files not deleted or moved thoroughly pc.

method 1. restore ie edge previous versions of favorites

click start > go computer > open c:\ drive > open user > choose user account (the account log in usually) > right click favorites icon , click restore previous versions. 

method 2. restore favorites backup

    open backed favorites folder option 1 , copy contents.
    browse , open %userprofile%\favorites folder, , paste contents inside favorites folder step 1.
    can close file explorer if like.
    open microsoft edge app.
    click/tap on more actions button @ top right corner, , click/tap on settings.
    click/tap on import favorites browser link.
    select (check) internet explorer, , click/tap on import.
    favorites , favorites bar restored in microsoft edge
