Internet Explorer will not Open - Microsoft Community


internet explorer not open. once click open it, mouse showing "thinking" nothing happens. ran cmd prompt sfc /scan , found no problems.

i have ran msdt.exe /id iebrowsewebdiagnostic , gave me error occured while troubleshooting. error code 0x80070057

i had computer repair company @ , said .dll file problem , have reload whole operating system.

all other browsers work have have internet explorer 1 website business use.

are there test or cmd prompts can run verify issue?

 lowered internet securities lowest, have turned off antivirus , turned off firewall.

as indicated have uninstall interferers.  further, security providers give "cleanup" program rid of bits uninstall program leaves behind.
