16226->16232 update stuck at "awaiting install" - Microsoft Community


hi,

my insider test machine running 16226 refuses upgrade 16232.

settings / windows update says:

windows 10 insider preview 16232.1000 (rs_prelease)

status: awaiting install

the update history says:

windows 10 insider preview 16232.1000 (rs_prelease) (5)

last failed install attempt on 2017-06-29 - 0x80070522

i've tried built-in wu troubleshooter, , 1 at http://aka.ms/wudiag - no avail.

any clue?

hi sb,

this no means sure fix, have reason believe it's worth try:

1) switch slow ring, run check updates.

2) run settings->upd & sec->troubleshoot->hardware , devices. might not show 'fixes' apparently clear 'restart required' flag.

3) restart machine.

4) switch fast ring , run 'check updates' again.

please let know whether works,
