Battery drain from Messaging + Skype app - Microsoft Community


i've been experiencing extreme battery drain caused messaging app running in background.  unlike other apps unable uninstall , reinstall app when acts up.  i've disabled cloud messaging , syncing between devices problem persists.  i message infrequently , try close out app when i'm not using it, still eats battery background process.  other apps use more use fraction of battery messaging app uses, app i've noticed behavior from.

i've attached screenshots of battery usage on different days.  i appreciate help.

resolved, advise set messaging + skype managed windows. far, it's set always allowed that's why consumes lot of battery. more tips, click battery saving tips windows 10 mobile.
