why not picture big screen via hdmi

lead. using 950xl , continuum hub 500 hdmi lead jvc hd tv. wireless mouse , keyboard work through hub onto phone screen.

but nothing goes tv, tv saying no signal hdmi port

not lot go on here. talking ms display dock right? phone, os revision? steps taking?
