i tried , nothing worked showed post 1 of our guys. fixed problem found another.
the university has microsoft office professional plus 2016 running on computers. (with updates.) uninstalled , installed office 365 proplus 2016 , groups show up. fixed. yeah! (bad because have switch computers!)
however, discovered (because particular guy on 1 of teams), posts not showing in email feeds - hence posts not showing in groups. there i've done wrong posting? there can fix it?

it’s expected behavior new conversation in microsoft teams channel not send email notification outlook client. if interested in feature, recommend vote feature via link mentioned. understanding experience helps make our product , service better , others.
and it’s not feasible use microsoft teams on outlook client. recommend communicate colleagues , ask them install microsoft teams desktop application or use microsoft teams web application. meanwhile, after install microsoft teams application, can use @ mention feature notify them in microsoft teams , receive notification in microsoft teams application.
