Why does my laptop's wifi only connect after connecting to the - Microsoft Community

so bought computer (an asus f541uv, windows 10) week ago , wifi wasn't working properly. connected home's wifi said had no internet. had yellow warning signal in wifi icon. managed recent drivers, tried uninstall , reinstall them , went power settings keep wifi on. tried connecting ethernet cable , worked.

while doing changed dns google dns , tried wifi again. working fine , thought had solved problem.

however, day after went turn computer on , wifi doing same thing. after connecting internet ethernet cable , disconnecting it, connection started working again.

it's same thing , don't know do. advice give me?

by using of troubleshooting tools in control panel help.

so click on win logo in taskbar , type control panel , hit enter key.

when control panel window opens click on troubleshooting.

when next screen opens near left side top , click on view all

then see image below. red arrows things can try.
