Can't connect error when trying to sign into microsoft account - Microsoft Community


this guy explained best:

-on 2/4/17 did factory reset of lumina 640xl windows 8.1 phone. since then, have not been able log microsoft account. error message says 'can't connect right now, try again later.' software doesn't provide fields enter credentials. please advise on fix planned, has affected many users. thanks-

i wanted free space download windows 10 update using update advisor, performed factory reset well. same thing happened me, , can't download update advisor let alone sign microsoft account. without it, can't download or receive updates.
