IE 11 crashes in Metro while working on the desktop of a tablet - Microsoft Community


ie 11 crashes in few seconds when opened in metro mode on asus vivotab 8 note -- windows 8.1 os

it work fine in desktop mode on same tablet.

turning off add-ons, reseting ie 11, verifying up-to-date windows updates, etc. not resolve issue...

does have clue might cause or fix?

  • do have other user accounts on computer? if so, kindly check if it's occurring on other user accounts.
  • is happening on websites access or specific website?
