today, when using either
https://www.onenote.com/classnotebook
or
https://www.onenote.com/staffnotebookedu
and clicking "add or remove members" entering name - name lookup fails after 3-4 seconds without error , returns previous page.

in addition, mentioned issue related ad, further troubleshooting, may know if affected users' sync type? can check in office 365 admin center > active users. "in cloud" or "synced ad"?
(if cannot find sync type column, please try switch classic admin center.)
