Windows 10 mobile not receiving text messages - Microsoft Community

i have been having sms issues ever since started using windows 10 mobile. using lumia 1520 using insider preview. assumed builds. purchased alcatel idol 4s (since battery life in 1520 got point wouldn't last day anymore, phone few years old) , running windows 10 mobile, not insider build. few days text messages come in normal. few days don't receive any, or receive messages hours or days old. have hard reset phone, changed new sim card, looked on of sms settings. ideas on should try? have turned off international assist per things have read online. love windows mobile, have used since windows ce days. cringe @ thought of android or ios, text message thing getting worry. @ times sent important messages, people assume have received message. wonder if missed now.

• which device you're having issue?
• what os build installed on phone? check, go settings > system > about > more info.
• when did issue start?
• is windows phone updated?

you can perform steps provided on our lumia troubleshooting , repair page selecting messaging, i cannot send or receive text messages option.
