Error trying to setup Windows 10 USB boot drive for custom built pc - Microsoft Community


i trying setup usb boot drive new custom built pc install windows 10 after media creation tool downloaded 4gb download got error : 0xc18001b - 0xa0019

any appreciated. 

extra info: i have built new pc , have old hard drive windows 10 installed on it. i'm going use same hard drive in new custom pc build new version of windows 10 want install on it.

try downloading iso file windows 10 instead. way can create usb iso file. if goes wrong, not stuck having download 4gb again. haven't found useful online searching error code.

what size of usb stick trying use? there can issues if larger 32gb.

a utility called rufus can create bootable usb stick downloaded iso file. there no issue using larger 32gb usb media when using rufus.
