Microsoft Edge locks up and shuts down when using favorites list. - Microsoft Community

just started doing since last major os update, when using favorites list (a lot) in ms edge list lock @ points , browser becomes unresponsive except red x  in corner. 

 then edge shut down.

 when reopen edge show same tabs had open when crashed , ask if want close tabs , start fresh or continue on left off.

i scanned virus's , rootkits nod32 , malwarebytes.

i ran c cleaner

internet explorer not have issue.

any ideas?
