this type of video file isn't supported error in Edge after - Microsoft Community


the following website comes error "this type of video file isn't supported" using edge.

this problem started after installing creators update in win 10 home.  note don't have problem using win 10 pro.

the website not give me puzzle piece activate flash.

  • are experiencing same issue other websites?
  • have enabled adobe flash player?
  • have installed latest updates windows 10?
  • what current version , build number of windows 10 pc?

to make sure adobe flash player enabled on microsoft edge, please follow steps below.

  1. click more or ellipsis icon on upper-right corner.
  2. go settings > view advanced settings.
  3. make sure use adobe flash player on.

to check latest update windows 10, click start button, go settings > update & security > windows update select check updates. click start button, type about pc press enter find out version , build number of windows 10 pc.
