Windows update not finding 15002 - Microsoft Community


running 14986 , when run windows update finding windows defender updates , not new build.  have been on fast ring last 2 updates have been problem downloading me.  have tried windows update trouble-shooter returns no issues found.  ideas why cannot build please help. 

have done reset or recovery?

if try this;

right click start, click on run , enter regedit , hit enter.  takes registry.

navigate computer\hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windowsselfhost\applicability

under enablepreviewbuild change dword 2

if under applicability there recoveredfrom.  find build number.  change dword 0 or delete recoveredfrom.

out, reboot, , go settings, updates, check updates.
