Microsoft account problem - Microsoft Community

hello, i'm setting nokia lumia 635 phone windows 8.1, view upgrading windows 10.when set microsoft account input email address 2 digits missed off end, forming email address not mine , not accessible.now, whenever try add apps, system asks me verify account checking code, cannot email shown. have tried resubmit other email addresses email withcodes don';t appear , when succeeded in getting email set up, having received verification code, system still went original email details digits missing. has got me pulling hair out. can advise me how wipe microsoft details , start scratch, or way resolve this.  reading.

with windows 8 phones have reset phone change microsoft account. can not correct mistake without resetting. 

when phone restarts, connect wifi , enter correct email address.
