this type of malware can acquired device either through downloaded applications or link accidentally clicked. better assist concern, suggest check programs and features of device , uninstall applications related ourlucky sites. this, follow steps below:

  1. in search box, type programs and features and press enter.   

  2. locate application want uninstall , right-click select uninstall.   

  3. follow on-screen prompts. 

after uninstalling applications related to ourlucky sites, suggest reset the internet explorer including deletion of personal settings. this, follow steps below:

  1. in search box, type inetcpl.cpl , press enter open internet properties. 

  2. click on advanced tab , click reset under reset internet explorer settings section. 

  3. tick box beside delete personal settings , click on reset (see screenshot below). 

  4. follow on-screen prompts. 

  5. once done, restart device apply changes.

in addition, recommend you rebuild microsoft edge via powershell to restore broken components of it. this, follow steps below:

  1. in search box, type powershell, right-click on result , select run as administrator.  
  2. copy , paste command below powershell tool , press enter:


    get-appxpackage -allusers -name microsoft.microsoftedge | foreach {add-appxpackage -disabledevelopmentmode -register "$($_.installlocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -verbose}

  3. once done, restart device apply changes , check if issue persists.
