wi-fi network 5Ghz invisible to Lumia 950 - Microsoft Community

dears,

i have issue new dual band router. works both in 2.4 , 5 ghz. however, lumia 950 can't see network in 5ghz.

i have scrolled down several questions posted other users, here problem seems different: not cannot connect network. don't see network, meaning not displayed among available wi-fi connections.

it not matter of ssd broadcast, checked , set visible.

could please advise?

the lumia can visualise , connect 2.4ghz, line disturbed , purpose have brand new router working on 5ghz using it.

so hardware wise phone should able see 5ghz. 2.4ghz , 5ghz networks broadcasting different ssid's or 1 mine? if one, try reset of router factory defaults. if broadcast 2 separate names , other devices can see 5ghz point problem phone. need either factory reset of phone , if doesn't fix have fault phones wifi card.
