Account info 'incorrect' when setting up iCloud mail on Nokia - Microsoft Community


i wanted sync. icloud mail onto nokia lumia 635 mobile phone (windows 8.1) after filling in icloud email address , password (on phone) keeps saying account info. iis incorrect (it isn't, since can sign in apple.com using exact same email address , password). have 'checked updates' on phone settings , updates updated!

can advise please? 

does apple id have two-step authentication on? may need generate app-specific password phone since apple doesn't support standards oauth.
