Application updates frequently interrupted - Microsoft Community

there notification  windows store asking me update whatsapp. when ty doing same, getting error code 80073cf9. have tried wifi data connection. none of works. worse part not able view mails well. when click gmail or outlook app on desktop, keeps exiting , facing extreme difficulty since don't have timely access mails.

we suggest perform soft reset. press , hold the volume down and power button until phone vibrates , restarts. note should not touch device screen during process (not when 'slide down power off' prompt appears). after performing soft reset, try check if issue persists.

if soft reset didn't work, suggest perform hard reset instead. can reset phone under settings: settings  > > reset phone. make sure of files before performing hard reset.

go settings > backup > apps + settings > back now.

if performing soft reset , hard reset didn't work, suggest use the windows device recovery tool. start downloading , installing windows device recovery tool (for windows 10, 8.x , 7).

when installation has finished, start application , main screen appear:

the procedure restore phone using windows device recovery tool follows:

1. connect the phone pc (using usb cable came phone).
2. after few seconds, pc should find phone , you'll see phone selection screen. click phone in screen select it.
3. after few seconds more, latest available firmware version device shown. click 'install software'/'reinstall software' button flash phone

windows device recovery tool download , install latest firmware + os available phone

note! your phone reset factory status when using tool.
