Suddenly cannot access websites with IE 11 on Win 10 Home as of - Microsoft Community

i have been using ie 11 on same pc running win 10 home, 64-bit @ least year, in order use hospital-based emr requires it.  otherwise, use firefox , chrome other browser functions.  of monday 4/17/17 am, cannot access websites, not ones emr.  there absolutely no other problems, including use of firefox , chrome.

i have tried following, no solutions:

  • re-start
  • designate ie default browser
  • restore ie default settings
  • opening without add-ons
  • disabling add-ons
  • un-installing , re-installing ie through control panel>programs , features>un-check ie>re-start>re-check ie>re-start
  • re-establishing user-specific custom settings in ie (includes deleting browser history, enabling activex controls, turning off pop-up blocker...)
  • perusing support community site threads on issue

i welcome suggestions or fixes!

turns out problem relates having used comodo free firewall in past.

i started looking @ system after being unable connect vpn.  went network , sharing center-> change adapter settings -> right click wifi -> properties -> un-check comodo internet security firewall driver.  problem solved.

troubling part used iobit unistaller un-install comodo firewall time ago.

thanks help.
