Battery Drain Issue On The Lumia 950 - Microsoft Community

new lumia 950 heats , discharges when screen not on, have tried disabling core features resetting (re-flashing) device of wdrt.

question why isn't microsoft looking issue or @ least giving out official statement rather posting generic replies turn off background apps, use power save mode etc.

here additional troubleshooting steps can perform rectify issue:

1. lumia windows 10: make sure phone doesn’t have software update pending going to settings > update & security > phone update.
2. out of date or invalid passwords mail , social media accounts affect battery life. delete , re-create account profiles pressing , holding relevant account profile in settings > accounts > email , accounts (lumia windows phone 8: settings > email+accounts). if fails, switch phone airplane mode , reboot. delete mail account, turn off airplane mode , re-create mail account. apply stalled account profiles (the mail account set microsoft account on phone cannot removed manually).

if nothing have worked rectify issue, suggest bringing phone place of purchase.
