Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE DUAL SIM not upgrading to windows 10 mobile - Microsoft Community


hello

after having windows 10 mobile intalled , date on 6 months now. , after experiencing issues recently whatsapp , other applications, not launching displaying trailing dots , blank black screen. ran windows device recovery tool reseting device twice did not resolve problem. after doing phone reset windows 8.1 lumia denim ( update 2 ).   installed upgrade advisor app windows 10 mobile windows store , launched it, advised me phone not eligible.  

device microsoft lumia 640 xl lte dual sim ( rm-1096_1001 ) unlocked.
os version: 8.10.15148.160.
firmware revision number: 02177.00000.15313.35003
hardware revision number: 7.4.0.1

help please "daily driver"

there seems problem upgrade advisor app ms have not yet acknowledged openly. try putting phone in flight mode , launching upgrade advisor app. turn on wifi , data connection after tells (hopefully) upgrade available device. workaround seems work users.
