Photo / Video saved to MicroSD backed up OneDrive When? - Microsoft Community

so last night  in conversation hear story:

today despite bing google can't more information on case i  just know local & recent.

story #1

a  , x involved in relationship ends due behaviour of x,  doesn't report x police

a has saved video , photos insurance.

x finds out , not deletes this memory card cloud backup gdrive (onedrive is always on!!)

so whilst x not charged whatever on video & photo more severe penalty imposed criminal damage of these still , moving images

in chasing story down , x savvy (not turns out!) enough delete cloud backup also  came across this:

wow!!!!  here thing as presume both android phones.

re story  #2 on windows  phone

first there is  phone lock prevent access onedrive

second have uninstall onedrive.

the photos still deleted memory card or memory card phyically removed ......

photos for backup need data plan quality wifi best quality

video need wifi. there appears no dataplan option

essentially lost

unless acutally connnected wifi @ best, taking photos have saved images  video won't save?

there not appear way to force upload

is correct curious know is possible the longer memory card in phone option remains? removal ...ooh!
