Why isn't there a solution for Lumia950xl? It still cannot get - Microsoft Community


hello everybody,

in meanwhile there's still a problem connect lumia 950xl miracast. connect en continuum still not connect beamer miracast. detected couldn't conect.

it's strange lumia 1520 , 635  and other lumia-models wich updated windows10 mobile work perfect miracast. lumia 950xl maybe has software bug? settings of updated lumia smartphone windows mobile 10 not same on lumia 950xl.

when connect wireless display-connector microsoft on same beamer(with miracast) couldn't connect lumia 950xl hdmi connect directly works perfect others older lumia-phones.

has perhaps solution in meanwhile?

regarding concern, if project phone's screen external display on wi-fi, recommend 1 of following miracast adapters. other adapters may work, might have quality or performance issues if don't have windows 10 mobile extensions.

  •  microsoft wireless display adapter (firmware version 1.3.8220 or later)
  •  actiontec screenbeam mini2 continuum edition (firmware version 5.3.5.0 or later)
  •  actiontec screenbeam mini2 (firmware version 5.3.5.0 or later)
  •  actiontec screenbeam pro wireless display receiver (firmware version 1.3.5.0 or later)
