Error code 0xC8000442 (windows phone) - Microsoft Community
title says all. gettin error "0xc8000442" on phone when try update or install app.
i getting error on windows phone please dont link me apps claim fix on computer wont work on mobile.
i believe error because system file missing dont know it. please try reply usefull comments other "i had problem too" - theres button that

if there's missing system file, sounds related software issue. resolve this, suggest perform soft reset. method not remove @ phone, , safe attempt in situation.
perform soft reset:
1. make sure phone turned on.
2. press , hold volume down , power button until phone vibrates , restarts.
take note should not touch device screen during process (not when 'slide down power off' prompt appears).
after performing soft reset, try check if issue persists.
