15xxx Series Builds Refuse to Update - Microsoft Community

i've been experiencing nothing problems 2 insider installs i've had running smoothly until 15xxx series builds.  one surface pro 3 i7/8gb/512 , other, dell vostro i7/16gb/750.  the surface updated 15002 successfully, had several failed attempts @ updating 15007 before successful.  the dell, not - refuses update 14986 - fails, consistently.  it not update; period.  the dell saw 15002 , 15007, , briefly morning, 15014 none have been able install.  each fails , no 15xxx series builds appear @ all.  the surface saw 15014 update , attempted download , install it, failed , 15014 build no longer shows - says available updates installed.  was 15014 pulled?  i know microsoft has acknowledged there update issues how 1 supposed update these install failures.  the later 14xxx series builds perfect (at least me) in terms of updates - worked.  is there fix coming these update issues?  a workaround time being?  i've run troubleshooter on both machines, deleted contents of softwaredistribution folder several times on both well.  neither has fixed problem.

did pull sd card?

did wait if there windows defender definition update takes time scan ans slow things down.  1 person said took him 2 1/2 hours.
