"Outdated browser" message at my.xfinity.com - Microsoft Community

every time log in homepage banner appears @ top of homepage telling me browser out of date. when click on "update" tells me if running windows 10 have latest version of internet explorer. running windows 10 , have latest version on internet explorer , yet every time log homepage have x out of this, lack of better word, banner. how make go away? annoying!!!

compatibility view is telling the website you're running earlier version of internet explorer.

from internet explorer> tools (on menu bar) (or alt + t)> compatibility view settings, verify site not in list, "use microsoft compatibility lists" unchecked , "display intranet sites in compatibility view" unchecked.
