chrome not deleted, may have set default browser again.

start> control panel> (programs)> default programs> set program access & computer defaults> custom section> click down arrows> set chrome default browser.

if you've lost shortcut used open chrome, navigate

"c:\program files (x86)\google\chrome\application" (64-bit system)

or

"c:\program files\google\chrome\application" (32-bit system)

right-click chrome.exe , select send to> desktop (create shortcut) can create additional shortcuts in way star menu, taskbar, etc.
