Build 15025 doesn't show up ? - Microsoft Community


due issues earlier builds did wdrt around christmas , decided remain on slow ring until more polished build arrived.  reading 15025 think can give try again , switched slow fast ring last thursday.

in mean while we're 4 days later... , w10m running 14965.1001 still tells me device up-to-date ?  there method in forcing phone download new build ?

you can try following: 

  1. make sure user account connected insider-enabled microsoft account. challenging me because settings app confused , thought connected when not. attempting disconnect (the option) resulted in error. fortunately, there option connect microsoft account in page inside of settings -> accounts worked fine (i don’t remember 1 was, , link not there now).
  2. press [windows]+[l] lock computer. know you’re using microsoft account if email address shows on lock screen , computer unlocks email password.
  3. verify can view insider statistics windows insider app.
  4. verify can load feedback app , see trending feedback.
  5. open settings , navigate update & security -> windows update -> advanced options.
  6. make sure slow build ring selected. switch if you’re on fast build ring.
  7. hit [<-] button , check updates.
  8. when it’s done, reboot computer.
  9. open services (right-click start, click computer management , navigate services , applications -> services).
  10. stop windows update.
  11. stop background intelligent transfer service.
  12. open windows explorer , navigate c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download.
  13. press [ctrl]+[a], , [shift]+[delete]. confirm want delete in the download folder.
  14. reboot computer.
  15. open settings , navigate update & security -> windows update.
  16. check updates.
  17. when it’s done checking/downloading, switch fast build ring.
  18. check updates again.
  19. when it’s done, reboot computer.
  20. open settings , navigate update & security -> windows update.
  21. check updates. time see build 10159.
  22. if found update, download progress stuck @ 0%, open task manager , watch internet bandwidth usage (in performance tab; click more details if it’s missing).
  23. when internet bandwidth usage drops down near 0, download finished or hanging.
  24. open services.
  25. stop windows update.
  26. stop background intelligent transfer service.
  27. start windows update.
  28. check updates, , update should resume left off.
