Windows 10 Pro Education - Can I use regular Pro Insider Build to - Microsoft Community

i have tablet has windows 10 pro education has cortana functionality removed.  i wanted test features , coming home hub , other cortana related innovations.  is possible upgrade insiders build re-enable functionality or insiders remain education insiders removed functionality?

unless perform clean install of home or pro insider preview, still retain same edition (education). means not test cortana, joining fast or slow ring. can clean install creating bootable install media insider iso file.

if update windows 10 education insider preview, auto-activate, installing home or pro not activate. running windows 10 without activation prevents access personalization settings, otherwise still functional testing.

if have room, install windows 10 pro insider preview optional os (dual boot).

another option, is possible install windows 10 on usb flash drive (usb stick) or on other flash storage. has fast memory , interface work smoothly though. have windows 10 pro installed on fast 64gb usb 3.0 stick. similar windows go, using  a normal "non-windows-to-go-certified" usb stick.

of course, buying certified windows go stick option (more expensive) need windows 10 pro or enterprise set windows go. also, if usb port not fast, performance compromised.

edit: link above, can download iso education edition of insider preview , upgrade. if download first choice, includes home , pro editions, can converted education edition. install non-activated windows 10 insider pro , later convert education become activated.

sometimes takes days or weeks offered insider build via windows update, although within 24 hours of joining device fast or slow ring.
