Windows 10 upgrade added a tab to IE - Microsoft Community


hi wife has a  windows 10 laptop upgraded believe microsoft calling creator's edition. uses ie 11 main browser , after update seeing  not used , not want see.

next address bar , tab identifying page on, sees tab open new tab wants, right of there blue e if clicks on it, launches microsoft edge not want. how can eliminate that?

tools cog | internet options | advanced. under browsing section, check box to: hide button (next new tab button) opens microsoft edge. close ie , reopen it.
