Internet Explorer will not load some secure websites - Microsoft Community


internet explorer other browsers not load websites https security such amazon.com , paypal.com. url's http not problem.

tools>internet options>security tab>trusted sites icon>sites button

are sites cannot log in listed? remove them or use wildcard notation *.amazon.com or *.paypal.com.... trusted sites list used large companies b2b commerce, trusted sites list less secure internet zone. eg. can run unsigned activex controls. web sites amazon.com use other web sites (eg. account.amazon.com) validate login credentials, ie has security setting preventing navigation lower security zone.... eg. amazon.com account.amazon.com. secure protocol (https) works (that data encrypted) in ie security zone..... home use, there no need 'trust' web site (as designed work in ie's internet zone)
