Breakthrough list in windows mobile 10 not saving contacts - Microsoft Community

adding posts on this...breakthrough list no longer save numbers. can add them in few minutes gone. critical safety issue families. have sick mother in nursing home , 2 teenage boys. critical functionality works. buying android wife after being windows phone since lumia 900. 

shame on microsoft not fixing safety feature already!

somebody on thread says there's update on insider ring seems fix it, it's not on full release ring yet.  fixed last night without update doing:

#1. delete entries in breakthrough list.

#2. delete accounts under settings.  suspect live/outlook accounts or other accounts capable of sync'ing contact lists.  had 2 live.com accounts.  since pop accounts don't sync contact lists, suspect don't matter.  since don't have pop accounts on phone, i'd don't know sure.

#3. deleting accounts should empty out people (contacts). (also calendar, etc.)

#4. power off/on measure.

#5. re-add accounts deleted.  should start repopulating people (contacts), calendar, etc.

#6. add desired people breakthrough list.

my past experience added breakthrough list gone in under 5 minutes.  doing above, far breakthrough list has been stable 8 hours.
