Audible App / Update for Audible App won't download for - Microsoft Community

for past few weeks have been trying download update audible on windows 10 phone. however, same error code every time: 0x80080204. tried uninstall app , download fresh, hoping include latest update. however, app won't download either, , same 0x80080204 error code.

i have htc 1 m8 windows verizon. on version 1511, os build 10.0.10586.164. on date os can because seems verizon stopped pushing updates win10 mobile sometime before last summer's anniversary update.

i have contacted audible support , not help, directed me microsoft. microsoft tech support person chatted directed me b2x support site, covers lumias (i entered imei , told phone wasn't covered). spent lot of time chatting verizon support , best give me command type command prompt line...except there isn't command prompt on win10 mobile (is there?) , command pcs. verizon guy gave me link microsoft support, i'm started almost.

i have tried restarting phone, signing in , out of windows store, , made sure have plenty of memory on both device , sd card. 1 support thread suggested set default storage location phone , not sd card, had no effect either.

granted, relatively small problem since other apps work fine , can download/update other apps. audible favorite app since listen every day on commute , work. appreciate community can provide.
