can't find download internet explorer. can tell me how ie or if there's new version of internet explorer different name? need use internet explorer ie11 part of windows 8.1. have it. make sure checked in control panel | programs , features | turn windows features on or off. when opened ie 11 today found many, not of favorites have been removed.  seems computer has emptied lowest subfolder in each favorite tree.  i.e. have folder structure favorites bar/financial/ contains subfolders /banks, /investments , /credit in addition links not allocated subfolder.  non-allocated links still there subfolders links within sub-folders gone.  typical throughout favorites directory.  happening , how stop this?  have checked favorites folder under user name in c:/ directory , links not there.  there yesterday , not see there update system overnight. hi mike, some of favorites might hidden , not totally deleted, kindly refer link troubleshooting steps provided ramesh.kumar. let know if have other questions. regards. i thought script error problem had been solved, of sudden it's vengeance.  went through "tools internet options advanced display notification ok" process directed community member, , worked!  while @ least.  it's back.  specific message "an error has occurred in script on page."  can out there give me more guidance? many thanks.   hi mill, to address concern script errors, kindly click link , follow steps provided. let know goes. i had windows insider 10 pro 14343.0 (1607).  working fine. getting these cumulative security updates since december 2016 & wouldn't install.  uninstall them & same ones again.  figured out weren't installing & 4-5 different updates wouldn't install, kept on trying install them 16 times each. the last update in january in middle of working on & blue screen of death during cumulative update wouldn't install.  showed scan tag & website go couldn't read.  whole system went down along windows 7 pro & backup windows 10 pro.  i have tried reinstalling windows 7 pro, won't install completely. all want insider 10 pro 14343 (1607) back. i had windows insider anniversary app also. hi thomas, to better concern installing updates, we'd clarify if part of windows insider program since 14343.0 (1607) not listed on insider build list . if so, can manually ...
