since upgraded lumia 640 windows 10 (back in 2015) i'm continually facing issue of slow charging. whenever connect phone pc/power bank gives charging slowly, can understand legitimate continues give same slow charging error whenever connect original charger. not that, gives slow charging error while charging original charger. can fix issue restart (sometimes takes more 1 restart fix) again returns under above circumstances. can confirm cable fine (checked output amperage android app), phone's connections fine not give error after restart few days. not issue phone. dad have lumia 640 , it have issue after windows 10 upgrade. have tried hard reset, soft reset, calibration of battery with no result. there many posts in forums articles in web but the issue still unsolved after creator's upgrade. p.s- whenever phone gives error can confirm charging slow example 5 hours full charge 65%, after restart gives 1 hr 30 mins full charge 63%.

i'm using hp envy 15 laptop run on top of fan keep cool , clean. ever since new build has started upgrading (?) makes computer restart, no warning. other times 10.:53 pm , restart @ 6:00, never giving warning. so i'm doing lost. i'm posting doesn't lost when restarts. updated  it restarted, takes 4.5 - 5 minutes each restart, , showed me page, does. i have went in , uninstalled every file have found relating printer, issue taken care of, , still keep getting these errors.  i'm thinking if don't find solution tomorrow i'll try reset computer last week when received build 4965. any appreciated, other suggesting buy new computer. if could, surely would. :) insider builds not meant used on computer aka production machines. rather insider builds test boxes if have problems not impinging on day day use. attempted reinstallation related windows 10 14986 installation.

the latest windows 10 technical preview installed build 16179 , when attempted cconnect samsung smart phone pc,. mtp connection not working. i didn't know cause , turned off preview - went normal windows 10 , mtp worked again. did new install of preview - , mtp broken. tried searching , didn't see frankly, might have overlooked - in event, there mtp connection issue latest preview - fixed soon. does happen know fix? see thread title.  didn't notice until tried 16193, it's weird. my sp4 dual boots between 15963 , latest insider build.  it's never been problem before, there's issue when try boot public build (the insider build on main partition).  secure boot enabled, trying boot public build kicks 0xc00000e9 error , says device needs repaired.  booting insider build never has slightest issue.  yet, disable secure boot, public build comes no problem. this gets interesting. have usb stick iso public build on it, plugged in, thinking i'd boot , run recovery tools advised.  no luck--no matter did, wouldn't boot usb drive until (again) disabled secure boot. since i'm not running on of non-insider machines dual boots else public build (one machine triple boots, between xp, 7, , 10), i'm hazarding guess insider build somehow responsible.  i've got no problem leaving secure boot disabled when want use public build, unusual enough
