ever since insider program began in october 2014, i've been installing preview builds on 6-year-old pentium laptop 2gb ram, on dual-boot configuration windows 8.1 pro on other partition.  it's been real trooper, installing every build right 16199.  however, each new build, has been getting slower , slower.  new people/people bar never worked properly, , photos story remix won't export video.  therefore, i'm considering retiring insider program , swapping newer (by 2 years) pentium laptop with 4gb ram that's date fully-activated windows 10 home creators update build 15063.332, , main purpose being plugged stereo system play music videos , iheartradio.  older 1 can instead. since i've never done running "retail" windows 10 build, i'm assuming can go settings>insider program , click started.  preference update latest insider build rather performing clean install.  way can test if existing software still works.

i've been experiencing nothing problems 2 insider installs i've had running smoothly until 15xxx series builds.  one surface pro 3 i7/8gb/512 , other, dell vostro i7/16gb/750.  the surface updated 15002 successfully, had several failed attempts @ updating 15007 before successful.  the dell, not - refuses update 14986 - fails, consistently.  it not update; period.  the dell saw 15002 , 15007, , briefly morning, 15014 none have been able install.  each fails , no 15xxx series builds appear @ all.  the surface saw 15014 update , attempted download , install it, failed , 15014 build no longer shows - says available updates installed.  was 15014 pulled?  i know microsoft has acknowledged there update issues how 1 supposed update these install failures.  the later 14xxx series builds perfect (at least me) in terms of updates - worked.  is there fix coming these update issues?  a workaround time being?  i've run troubleshooter on both machines, delete

hi, there many issues i've noticed internet explorer not acting (for me), , believe settings getting permanently changed though have reset them. i'll explain further... my internet security settings set weaker highest setting, consequently means lot of websites can't load of content, and that's fine me.  though, view twitch, means need change advanced settings too, , enable dom storage.  when i'm done twitch, i'll uncheck dom storage again, , delete browsing history, , continue usual web browsing...only though, i've noticed, other viewed sites not loading of content, reason, able load it.  also, sites not able load @ all, such youtube, able load. flash set not allow storage , regularly click delete files there, in case. i've tried deleting browsing history (all of check boxes selected exception of 'preserve favorites (sic) website data', , turning off computer, , removing power supply, powering on, clearing bro

i trying install build 15002.  able download build via windows update and system goes through "getting ready install phase - seemingly without problem.  told (as expected) need reboot do. the system reboots , goes through "configuring update windows 10" phase (does seem take longer usual) , reboots again expected.  system starts boot - blue screen background windows logo never goes next step (the installing files, getting ready etc) - shows blue screen logo (not the animation during bootup)  - left sit 4 hours before powering off , restarting today (3rd try).  when log in, system still show 14971 in bottom right , on "about screen" in system settings.  however, update history says 15002 installed. i running insider preview in vmware virtual machine.  vm has 8 gigs of ram , had 10 gigs of empty hard drive space.   if matters, host box running anniversary update amd fx-6120 , 24 gigs of memory along on 200 gigs of hard driv
